The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially extended the last date to submit the Term-End Examination (TEE) form for the December 2025 session. Students who have not yet applied can now complete the online form at exam.ignou.ac.in on or before October 26, 2025.
Earlier, the last date to apply was October 6.
About IGNOU TEE December 2025
The December 2025 term-end exams will be held for students of both ODL (Open and Distance Learning) and Online programmes. The university is expected to begin the exams from December 1 and continue till January 8, 2026.
Along with exam forms, students can also submit project reports, dissertations, practical exam forms and other required components through the official portal. Applicants must carefully read the exam guidelines, schedule and instructions before final submission. The current deadline is valid without any late fee.
Important Note for June 2025 Examinees
Students who appeared in June 2025 TEE but whose results are still pending can later add those courses (if required) after results are declared — in case they are unable to qualify in any course.
IGNOU TEE December 2025 — Eligibility Criteria
Students may apply for the December TEE if they meet the following conditions:

Registered for 1st year / re-registered for 2nd or 3rd year of UG or PG programmes.

Enrolled in Diploma or PG Diploma programmes.

Registered for Certificate / PG Certificate / Semester-based programmes.

Programme validity period is active.

TEE for specific courses is pending or not attempted yet.

Course fee has been paid as per that semester/year requirement.

Assignments have been submitted within the due date for that course.

Registration must be valid and active at the time of exam.
Exam Fees and Evaluation Guidelines
The examination fee depends on the student’s admission cycle:

For candidates admitted till December 2022, the prescribed fee is ₹200 per course.
For postgraduate students, the final result will be calculated based on both theory exams and assignments, where assignments carry around 30% weightage. To qualify, PG candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each component.
